The intersection of Gladstone and Bronson avenues is closed to through traffic as of today for construction and is anticipated to stay closed until early September.

The intersections at Bronson Avenue and Somerset Street and Bronson and Catherine Street are still open to through traffic. Bronson remains closed between Somerset and Catherine streets.

The closure is part of the Bronson Avenue reconstruction project, which is itself part of the Ottawa on the Move program. This $340-million city infrastructure effort is meant to improve transportation in advance of the LRT and Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017.
