Already popular in Western Canada, green building is growing in Ottawa. This new process is catching on as businesses realize the potential savings.  

 
For the late-night crowd stumbling past 320 Bank St. on a Saturday night, 2 for 1 Pizza Pie is a haven, offering hot, greasy food, an X-Men arcade game and a businessman who watches out for them.  


 
The Canadian government is trying to address concerns raised by owners of small firms across the country about changes to how government contracts are awarded. There is a fear that the new policies could put small and medium businesses at a disadvantage.  

 
It may seem morbid to daydream about the style of coffin you would prefer to be laid to rest in. And not everyone stops to envision the flower arrangements they would like to see at their own wake. But in Ontario an increasing number of citizens have begun planning — and paying for — their own funerals in advance.  

 
Ottawa city council agreed on a policy to allow billboard advertising on city property at their Sept. 28 meeting and, while their solution is very democratic, it doesn’t make much business sense.
