For the next few weeks, about 125 children and their families, brought to Ottawa from Kashechewan, will call several downtown hotels their home.

Last month, the 80-year-old McLeod Street resident received her 2005 property value assessment from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC), the agency responsible for residential property assessments in Ontario.
 

 
After a recent string of burglaries in Centretown, Ottawa police are warning residents to lock up their homes and befriend their neighbours.
