Parents looking
for childcare spaces in Centretown will soon have more choice.
A provincial program called Best Start will add 1,100 new spaces
to the Ottawa region, according to a city report.

Money promised
to Ontario schools from the provincial government for bullying
prevention can be beneficial, but schools should be careful on
how they spend the funds, says one youth counsellor.
Visitors to
the Canadian War Museum can see many relics of war: tanks, rifles
and military uniforms. But a local activist group says the museum
does not have a large enough focus on peace.
