Eight granite rocks, five uniforms and four brooms may seem odd supplies for a family trip, but for Ottawa’s Hanna family, it is nothing but ordinary.  

 
One can easily imagine 36-year-old Alan Simpson standing at his front door on a frigid, February day.  

 
Roger Burrows wears a maroon windbreaker and track pants with sturdy sneakers as he strolls at a leisurely pace, breath steaming against the brisk air as he talks.  

 
While players are just now lacing their cleats, the game has remained in the media spotlight throughout the off-season. Unfortunately, for those who love baseball, however, interest in Boston’s historic World Series win has waned as the steroid-abuse scandal has intensified.
