Just before 9 a.m. on a brisk Saturday morning, two teams of peewee hockey players — one from Ottawa, one from Iqaluit — stream through the doors of the Ottawa Civic Centre, and head straight for the warmth of the dressing rooms.  

 
Most people can remember playing dodge ball as a child. Some, however, have fonder memories than others. As a young child it is hard to understand why your teacher wants you to play a game that allows a rubber ball in the face.  

 
The last Special Olympics Summer Games were not held in Athens 2004, alongside the Olympic and Paralympic Summer Games, because the Special Olympics are never held in the same venue or at the same time as its better-known counterparts. This is discrimination and needs to be changed.
