Ottawa map distributors are criticizing the federal government’s plans to close down a map warehouse next year, saying it could devastate their business.  

 
The new Conservative government’s campaign promise to cut consumer and business taxes has local entrepreneurs guardedly optimistic — glad for any break, but unsure if the cut will really materialize.  

 
Think back — when was the last time you saw a fifty, or a hundred — dollar bill? There are many reasons why they seem to have disappeared; the most common is that some stores don’t accept anything larger than a twenty, for fear of being handed a fake.
